I wrote an article kind of like this for my kids' last school. I translated it into several languages using Google, and then the next year (when we left), two new students from China showed up. I don't really know where they stayed or how they got along in an American school, but I do know those kids were going to have to learn English stuck in the middle of the country (Kansas). If you are in China, please consider sending your kids to America if you want them to learn English. The teachers you get to come over there will not be the best we have to offer, and kids learn better in immersion experiences.
I'd like to recommend Grace Lutheran School for your Chinese exchange experience. I'm not sure if it qualifies for whatever international accreditation might be necessary, but it's a good private school in Jacksonville. Even if Grace doesn't work out, I'd still like to see the Chinese look to Jacksonville as an option when it comes to education. When I was in Wisconsin, there was a Chinese-American school just down the block from my house, and those students chose several of the local Catholic and Lutheran schools to attend. Jacksonville would work just as well for this sort of dormitory-like experience. And there would be wonderful class trips to Disney and whatever else there is to do in Orlando without the higher prices of setting up your housing there.
